NC’s January Unemployment Rate Increases

<p>North Carolina&#39;s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased 0.1 of a percentage point to 3.8 percent from December&rsquo;s seasonally adjusted rate of 3.7 percent.</p>

North Carolina's unemployment rate for January increased 0.1 of a percentage point from the seasonally adjusted December rate of 3.7 percent. This is 0.2 of a percentage point lower than the U.S. rate at 4.0 percent.

Seasonally adjusted Total Nonfarm employment increased by 34,700 in January to 4,534,400.
