Not seasonally adjusted unemployment rates rose in 99 of North Carolina's 100 counties in December. Forty-six counties had rates that were either at or below the state's 3.8 percent not seasonally adjusted rate, which increased 0.3 of a percentage point from the November revised unemployment rate.
Unemployment rates increased in all 15 of North Carolina’s Metropolitan Statistical Areas.
