Report | Building North Carolina's Offshore Wind Supply Chain

This report examines North Carolina’s opportunity with the offshore wind (OSW) industry,  with a particular emphasis on the industry's supply chain needs and the state's position and potential manufacturing role in the industry.  The North Carolina Department of Commerce commissioned the report, which was researched and produced by BVG Associates and a team of experts from Lloyds Register Energy Americas, Timmons Group, and North Carolina State University and its NC Clean Energy Technology Center.

Report | COVID-19 Impacts on N.C. Small Businesses 2020 Survey Results

This report shows results from a survey of North Carolina small businesses that were asked about the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on their company's operations.  The survey was conducted by the Department’s Main Street and Rural Planning Center (MS&RP), in partnership with the North Carolina Small Business & Technology Development Center (SBTDC).  The survey was conducted in the fall of 2020.

DRAFT | Proposed Amendments to CDBG Consoliated Plans for 2011-15 and 2016-20

Periodically, the Department invites the public to comment on various administrative plans or proposals.

Currently, the State of North Carolina is giving notice and also seeking comments on substantial amendments to the 2011-2015 and 2016-2020 Consolidated Plans.  Consolidated Plans are program reports associated with federal funds administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
