North Carolina Jobs Plan 2014-2024

The North Carolina Jobs Plan - Recommended Strategies for Economic Growth 2014-2024 was published in December 2013 by the North Carolina Economic Development Board, a body that is no longer active.  The plan offers a road map and recommendations for economic development in North Carolina and remains an important reference point for policymakers and economic developers in the state.

Proposed WIOA Unified State Plan 2020-2024

This document is a draft of North Carolina's proposed Unified State Plan for implementing the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), as required by federal law, to guide the implementation of the Act in our state from 2020 through 2024.

The NCWorks Commission and North Carolina’s workforce development system partners have drafted this plan.

The Commission welcomes public comments on this draft plan during a 30-day period, from December 23, 2019, through January 27, 2020.
