NC’s August Unemployment Rate Decreases

North Carolina's unemployment rate for August decreased 0.2 of a percentage point from the revised July rate of 4.1 percent. This matches the U.S. rate at 3.9 percent.

Seasonally adjusted Total Nonfarm employment increased by 1,600 in August to 4,527,600.
