June Unemployment Rates Increase in Most NC Counties

Not seasonally adjusted unemployment rates rose in 97 of North Carolina's 100 counties in June. Fifty counties had rates that were either at or below the state's 4.2 percent not seasonally adjusted rate, which decreased 0.1 of a percentage point from the May revised unemployment rate.

Unemployment rates increased in all 15 of North Carolina’s Metropolitan Statistical Areas.
