May Unemployment Rates Decrease in Most NC Counties

Not seasonally adjusted unemployment rates fell in 60 of North Carolina's 100 counties in May. Fifty-one counties had rates that were either at or below the state's 3.7 percent not seasonally adjusted rate, which remained unchanged from the April revised unemployment rate.

Unemployment rates decreased in seven of North Carolina’s 15 Metropolitan Statistical Areas.
