NC’s May Unemployment Rate Decreases

North Carolina's unemployment rate for May decreased 0.1 of a percentage point from the revised April rate of 4.4 percent. This is 0.5 of a percentage point higher than the U.S. rate of 3.8 percent.

Seasonally adjusted Total Nonfarm employment increased by 21,600 in May to 4,502,100.
