NC’s April Unemployment Rate Decreases

North Carolina's unemployment rate for April decreased 0.1 of a percentage point from the revised March rate of 4.5 percent. This is 0.5 of a percentage point higher than the U.S. rate of 3.9 percent.

Seasonally adjusted Total Nonfarm employment increased by 9,100 in March to 4,482,100.
