NC’s December Unemployment Rate Increases

North Carolina's unemployment rate for December increased 0.2 of a percentage point to 4.5 percent from the revised November rate of 4.3 percent. This is 0.4 of a percentage point higher than the U.S. rate of 4.1 percent.

Seasonally adjusted Total Nonfarm employment increased by 12,500 in December to 4,457,700.
