September Unemployment Rates Decrease in Most NC Counties

Not seasonally adjusted unemployment rates fell in 99 of North Carolina's 100 counties in September. Forty-six counties had rates that were either at or below the state's 4.0 percent not seasonally adjusted rate, which decreased 0.5 of a percentage point from the August revised unemployment rate.

Unemployment rates decreased in all 15 of North Carolina’s Metropolitan Statistical Areas.
