Job Maintenance & Capital Development Fund (JMAC)

JMAC seeks to stimulate economic activity by maintaining significant numbers of high-paying, high-quality jobs, and encouraging the addition of large-scale capital investment by providing a discretionary incentive that offers sustained annual grants directly to businesses.

Public comments are being accepted through August 19 on the proposed amendments to the Criteria for Operation and Implementation of the Job Maintenance and Capital Development Fund program.

Comments can be made in writing by mail to Commerce Finance Center of N.C. Department of Commerce, 4301 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, N.C. 27699-4301; by hand delivery to the N.C. Department of Commerce, located on the fourth floor of the Education Building at 301 N. Wilmington St., Raleigh; or by email to CFC@nccommerce.com.

An opportunty for oral comments will be provided at a public comment session set for 11 a.m. on August 19 in the Commerce board room on the fourth floor of the Education Building, located at 301 N. Wilmington St., Raleigh.
