These documents outline details of an initiative to provide relief from certain requirements of Job Development Investment Grants (JDIGs), due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation in North Carolina and the nation.

Companies holding JDIGs now have an option to apply for relief from certain compliance requirements of their grants.

  • On May 26, 2020 the Economic Investment Committee approved a Compliance Relief motion for JDIG Grantees.  This document is the Motion to Approve Job Development Investment Grant Compliance Relief Due to the Effects of COVID-19.
  • On July 28, 2020, the Committee approved an additional motion related to the Compliance Relief offer.
  • The slide presentation, designed for JDIG grant managers, provides important guidance and information for managing the process of requesting grant relief.
  • The Microsoft Excel file is the Abridged Grantee Annual Report (GAR) form that grantees must submit if their company is requesting compliance relief under their current JDIG with the State of North Carolina.
