The presentation Recreating Neighborhoods: Putting the Pieces Together, looks at several physical elements that make up a good neighborhood. Seven topics are covered in six sections, with summary points at the end of each section. Section 1 contains the first two topics.
A resource list is also included. Whenever possible, a reference is listed for more information for each project mentioned. A script is also available. Although many of the pictures were taken in the early 2000s, additional pictures were taken in 2012 and 2013 when it was possible for the author to revisit sites, to show completed construction and maturing landscaping.
The presentations are meant to stand on their own. Although it is not necessary to see the video Designing Better Places for Recreating Neighborhoods to make sense, design terms explained in the video are also used in the PowerPoint presentations.
