March Unemployment Rates Decrease in Most NC Counties

In March, not seasonally adjusted unemployment rates decreased in 85 of North Carolina's 100 counties.

Not seasonally adjusted unemployment rates decreased in 85 of North Carolina's 100 counties in March, increased in three, and remained unchanged in 12. Fifty-six counties had rates that were either at or below the state's 3.6 percent not seasonally adjusted rate, which decreased 0.1 of a percentage point from the February revised unemployment rate. 

Unemployment rates decreased in 14 of North Carolina’s 15 Metropolitan Statistical Areas.
