January Unemployment Rates Decrease in Most NC Counties

<p>In January, not seasonally adjusted unemployment rates decreased in 62 of North Carolina&#39;s 100 counties.</p>

Not seasonally adjusted unemployment rates decreased in 62 of North Carolina's 100 counties in January. Fifty-five counties had rates that were either at or below the state's 6.0 percent not seasonally adjusted rate, which decreased 0.1 of a percentage point from the December annually adjusted unemployment rate.

Unemployment rates decreased in 13 of North Carolina’s 15 Metropolitan Statistical Areas.
