NC’s October Unemployment Rate Decreases

North Carolina's unemployment rate fell 0.9 of a percentage point from the revised September rate of 7.2 percent. This is 0.6 of a percentage point lower than the U.S. rate at 6.9 percent.

Seasonally adjusted Total Nonfarm employment increased by 26,400 in October to 4,346,400.
