December Unemployment Rates Decrease in More NC Counties

<p>In December, not seasonally adjusted unemployment rates decreased in 45 of North Carolina&#39;s 100 counties, while increasing in 25 and remaining unchanged in 30.</p>

Not seasonally adjusted unemployment rates fell in 45 of North Carolina's 100 counties in December. Thirty-eight counties had rates that were either at or below the state's 3.3 percent not seasonally adjusted rate, which decreased 0.1 of a percentage point from the November revised unemployment rate.

Unemployment rates decreased in all of North Carolina’s 15 Metropolitan Statistical Areas.
