NC’s May Unemployment Rate Increases

<p style="margin-bottom:8.4pt; margin:0in 0in 8pt">North Carolina&#39;s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased 0.1 of a percentage point to 4.1 percent from April&rsquo;s revised rate of 4.0 percent.</p>

North Carolina's unemployment rate for May increased 0.1 of a percentage point from the revised April rate of 4.0 percent. This is 0.5 of a percentage point higher than the U.S. rate at 3.6 percent.

Seasonally adjusted Total Nonfarm employment increased by 1,100 in May to 4,559,500.
