A new and improved NC Today is now available and looks very different from previous versions. We hope you find the upgrades, which are listed below, to be useful.

Once containing 21 pages, the redesigned NC Today is now a concise two-page report. Included, you will find more data visualization, charts, maps and graphs to show trends and the direction of key economic indicators.

New data sets in NC Today include the Philadelphia Federal Reserve, Conference Board, US Census Bureau, and NC Department of Revenue. Additional months and years of data have been added to help you see current statistics in context with historical measures – most of which are displayed over five years. Along with the content changes, the NC Today release date has been shifted to the Local Areas Release date in an effort to have all data points reflect the same time frame. Data will be for the current month unless otherwise noted.

Again, we hope you find the new format to be useful and informative.
