North Carolina public libraries are a key resource during tough economic times.  Libraries assist customers in locating job opportunities, learning new computer skills, exploring educational avenues, researching business opportunities, and preparing their financial future.

The Benefit Bank of North Carolina can provide free assistance with food and nutrition services, applying for federal student aid, Work First family assistance, federal and state tax filing, voter registration, Medicaid and Medicare Rx prescription assistance.



N.C. Foreclosure Prevention Fund helps North Carolina homeowners who are struggling to pay their mortgage due to job loss or other temporary financial hardship that occurred on or after January 1, 2008. 
The Fund provides assistance at no cost to you.
