What we do
We help North Carolina companies grow their profits through exporting.
North Carolina’s exports reported steady gains again in 2013, building on four years of growth since the bottom of the recession. Overall, North Carolina exports grew 1.4% in real terms (taking into account price changes) in 2013 compared to the previous year, reaching an all-time high of $29.3 billion. Over the past five years, exports have grown almost 10%, while gaining nearly 30% over the past decade.
If you are with a North Carolina company interested in pursuing or increasing foreign sales opportunities through exporting, North Carolina's international trade team has information and experts ready to assist you.
In October 2014, the state's trade team became a part of a new public-private organization, the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC). For export assistance, call one of our business development managers or email Rick Hill at email@example.com.
