2014 US Open
The State of North Carolina, coordinated through the Department of Commerce, will stage an engagement program to reach corporate and travel executives, media and industry at the U.S. Open Men’s and Women’s Golf Tournaments in June of 2014. The effort is planned to market the state as a business and visitor location and to build stronger relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
The Division of Tourism will take advantage of this unprecedented event to generate global exposure for the state. In addition to our annual golf travel marketing efforts that include public relations, advertising, web content, consumer promotions and a monthly N.C. golf eNewsletter, the Division will be teaming with our colleagues in Commerce to partner in a corporate hospitality village.
Tourism partners will be able to participate in the hospitality village through either a gold or bronze package as listed below. Packages are limited and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
There will be additional opportunities for other tourism partners to participate in pre and post-event familiarization tours with travel writers and tour operators, both domestic and international. If you are interested in hosting these trips, contact Heidi Walters at email@example.com.
