Utility Savings Initiative

 

The Utility Savings Initiative is North Carolina’s lead-by-example program supporting energy efficiency in public buildings. This state-mandated program was created to help North Carolina public facilities reduce their use of energy, water and other utilities.

The program serves state agencies, the University of North Carolina system, the state's community colleges, public schools and county and municipal governments.

Key focus areas of the Utility Savings Initiative are:
