Workforce Development Training Center Registration FAQs


How can payment be made?

 

After registering online or by fax, the preferred method is to mail your check (made out to N.C. Dept of Commerce/Workforce) to the Workforce Development Training Center, 4351 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, N.C. 27699-4351. Payment will be accepted at the door.

Do you accept credit cards?

 

Presently, the Workforce Development Training Center is not equipped to handle credit card transactions. We accept agency checks, personal checks and money orders. All checks should be made to: N.C. Dept of Commerce/ Workforce.

Will you accept registrations after the stated deadline?

 

Yes, space permitting, however, if the registration deadline is not met, you may not have a printed name tag and/or be included in the attendee listing.

What happens if I have to cancel?

 

If you have to cancel, please notify us in writing at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled event. You may email us at mbarefoot@nccommerce.com or fax to (919) 329-5599. This is imperative since we must plan for break service based on numbers of registrations. No shows/no cancellations will be charged the full registration fee.

Can a substitute be made for a registrant unable to attend?

 

Substitution of a registrant requires notification to the Center by e-mail or fax (919) 329-5588 within two working days after receipt of confirmation of registration.
