How does a new user obtain access to the FMIS system?

There are two forms that need to be completed.

  • Request to Activate RACF ID  | 

    http://www.ncwia.com/ftp/racfaccess.pdf
    This form is used to create or to re-activate a RACF ID. The RACF ID is your first login into the State Computer System.

  • Request for WIA MIS Financial System Access   |  

    http://www.ncwia.com/ftp/fmisaccess.pdf
    This form is needed to access to FMIS system. This ID is the second login you will use to gain access to the FMIS system

You need to fax a signed copy of both forms to obtain access. Fax to Division attention at 919-329-5596

What software can I use to connect to the state computer to access the FMIS system?

The recommended way to connect to the system:

 

If you have the latest version of Java installed on your personal computer, you can run HOD Java Web Start Client.  However, if you do not have the Java software installed, you can still run TN 3270 SSL display version.
