JobLink Career Centers

A single place for a variety of employment and training services.

JobLink Career Centers offer employers a single place to access a variety of employment and training services to meet their workforce needs.  As a result, workers get the skills they need and the business community can tap a qualified pool of potential employees.

 

Through the JobLink Career Center system, employers can take advantage of many free local area programs and services to:

 

  • Recruit qualified employees who are job ready.
  • Help provide on-the-job training. Employers are reimbursed up to 50% of an individual’s wages for the period of training.
  • Negotiate customized training programs tailored to your needs. The employer must share in the cost of customized training.

 

JobLink Career Centers host a partnership of local workforce development professionals from various partner agencies that work together to provide the best services. These centers can help fill all types of job openings including:

  • Professional
  • Technical
  • Skilled and unskilled
  • Full and part-time
  • Permanent and temporary.

  • Information on local labor market, prevailing wages, etc.
