Substantial Amendment
Per Division A, Title XII of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 appropriated “CDBG-R funding” to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to carry out the CDBG program under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 on an expedited basis. Following the same allocation formula as used for the annual allocation of CDBG funds, the State of North Carolina is expected to receive $12,080,614. In order to receive CDBG-R funding, the State of North Carolina submitted an Action Plan to U.S. HUD on June 29, 2009. The below documents identify North Carolina’s proposed use of CDBG R funding.
