Office of Urban Development
The Office Urban Development serves as the state's leading resource in downtown revitalization. Urban Development promotes downtown revitalization throughout the state using a process based on economic development within the context of historic preservation, a concept developed by the National Trust for Historic Preservation; administers the National Trust's Main Street program in North Carolina and manages the Main Street Solutions Fund program.
The Office of Urban Development operates three programs:
- N.C. Main Street,
- Small Town Main Street
- Main Street Solutions Fund
