Economic Analysis
A study done in 2005 evaluated the Wanchese Seafood Industrial Park in a twofold manner:
Face-to-face interviews were conducted to better understand the business environment of each employer. These interviews also were used to help determine the size, scope, and focus of each of the operations.
The impact of the Park on Dare County, on its economic region (N.C. Northeast’s Partnership), and on North Carolina were evaluated.
This study was updated in April, 2011.
