Comprised of 120 hours of course work, the Career Development Facilitator Program is based on a nationally accepted curriculum tailored to North Carolina workforce professionals. The program is designed to standardize the knowledge and experience of individuals who are working in workforce training programs and other career development services.

Instructional Methodology: The course incorporates a variety of modalities, including 24 hours of classroom instruction, 56 hours of web-based, distance learning modules and interactive DVD, and 40 hours of independent project completion.

Length of training: The course is designed to be completed in 3-5 months, with actual course length based on class preference. The course may also be offered in a condensed format in the summer months, but will be clearly announced as such.

Cost of Course: $525 (covers tuition, student manual and interactive DVD). Students are responsible for their own lodging and travel expenses.

Out-of-State Course Cost: $700

Transfer Policy and Charges:  Persons who start the CDF course and do not complete their work by the scheduled end date of the class and must therefore transfer to another course to finish at a later date will be subject to an administrative fee of $100. In addition, you will also be charged for any increase in registration fee for the new class.  (For example, if the registration fee for your class is $525 and the next class has a fee increase to $550, you will be responsible for the $25 fee increase plus the $100 administrative fee for transferring.)
