The Division of Tourism, Film and Sports Development publishes the Travel Tracker on a monthly basis, with summaries every quarter that include a synopsis of North Carolina travel and tourism indicators including:
- Airport deplanements and enplanements
- Hotel/motel occupancy
- Average daily room rates
- Revenue per available room
- Welcome center visits
- Regional visitor centers
- State and national park visits.
Travel Tracker summarizes these indicators for the state, the three geographic marketing regions and seven economic development regions.
