The Division of Community Assistance (DCA) held a series of workshops to discuss the 2009 Community Revitalization (CR), Scattered Site Housing (SSH), Infrastructure (IF), Housing Development (HD), Individual Development Account (IDA), Small Business Entrepreneurial Assistance (SBEA), and Capacity Building (CB) funding cycles.
Registration begans at 8:30 a.m. The morning session was from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and the afternoon session for Scattered Site Housing participants was from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.
The workshops were held at the following locations:
1st Workshop: April 21, 2009, HUD Field Office, located at 1500 Pinecroft Road, Suite 401, Greensboro, NC 27407-3838
2nd Workshop: April 22, 2009, Beaufort Community College, located at 5337 Hwy 264 East, Washington, NC 27889
3rd Workshop: April 23, 2009, Methodist Assembly Room, located at 1307 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27605
4th Workshop: April 28, 2009, Watauga County Manager’s Office, 814 West King Street, Suite 205, Boone, NC 28607-3525
A governing or management official, from the local government, must attend one of the workshops to be eligible to apply for any of the CDBG programs highlighted in this announcement, and to receive an application packet. Applications will only be given to local government officials.
