Community Planning Program - Staff in five regional offices provide technical assistance to local governments in current and long-range planning, growth management and training.
N.C. Main Street Center - The Main Street program provides technical assistance, training and networking opportunities in downtown revitalization.
21st Century Communities Program works to promote economic prosperity in targeted counties through the development of comprehensive strategic plans and initiatives.
NC Certified Retirement Communities Program is currently under development for communities that are positioning for retiree attraction as an economic and community development strategy.
