JobLink Career Centers (JLCCs) offer businesses a single place to access a variety of employer services to meet their workforce needs. As a result, workers get the skills they need and the business community can tap a qualified pool of potential employees.
Through the JLCC system, employers can take advantage of many free local area programs and services to:
- Recruit qualified, job-ready employees (professional, technical, skilled and unskilled, full and part-time, permanent and temporary).
- Help provide on-the-job training. Employers are reimbursed up to 50% of an individual’s wages for the period of training.
- Negotiate customized training programs tailored to your needs. The employer must share in the cost of customized training.
