Consolidated Planning Process

The five-year Consolidated Plan outlines how North Carolina programs funded by HUD propose to spend the federal dollars.

Annually, the state receives more than $60 million in federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funding for housing and community development programs. The four programs participating in North Carolina are:

 

 

 

 

 

The Five-Year Consolidated Action Plan outlines how the four North Carolina programs funded by HUD propose to spend the federal dollars they receive over that period.  The state is currently following the 2006 - 2010 Consolidated Plan. 

 

Annual Action Plans, submitted to HUD by November 15th of each year, focus on the state's one year goals. 

 

2008 Amendment

Please click here here to download a copy of the Substantial Amendment to the 2008 Amended Consolidated Annual Action Plan or you may email Martha Are at martha.are@nc.gov to request a copy.  A public meeting public meeting will be held on May 4, 2009 at 10am at the offices of the NC Division of Community Assistance, Methodist Building, 1307 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27605.

 

 

The Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER), submitted to HUD by March 31st of each year, summarizes the state's accomplishments for the previous year.
